Tianjin Kingtyre Group Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of motorcycle radial tires, headquartered in Tianjin, China. Founded in 2015, the company specializes in the design and production of radial motorcycle tires for racing, adventure, off-road, cruiser, and commuter applications. Kingtyre operates a production facility with an annual capacity of over 300,000 radial tires and exports to more than 45 countries across Europe, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
The company is ISO 9001 certified and its products are certified to DOT (U.S.), ECE R75 (Europe), and CCC (China) standards.
KingTyre History
Kingtyre was established in Tianjin in 2015 with the goal of manufacturing motorcycle radial tires — at the time a segment where Chinese manufacturers had limited presence. The company invested in production equipment and compound development to meet international standards.
In 2019, the company expanded its production facility in Tianjin, adding new manufacturing equipment and increasing production capacity to support growing export demand. This marked the beginning of Kingtyre's global expansion into European and South American markets.
2
A major milestone came in 2022 when Kingtyre and Full Gas Racing Team jointly established the Kingtyre Full Gas Racing Team to compete in the FIM Endurance World Championship at the 24 Hours of Le Mans motorcycle endurance race. This marked the first time a Chinese tire manufacturer competed at this level of international motorsport.
3
In 2024, Kingtyre completed its fourth consecutive participation at Le Mans, accumulating race data from over 1TB of telemetry across four years of competition. The 2024 race saw the team complete more than 850 laps under wet conditions using Kingtyre wet-weather tires.
Kingtyre Factory Infrastructure | Advanced MC Tires Factory
Kingtyre's manufacturing facility in Tianjin produces motorcycle radial tires across five product categories: racing, adventure, off-road, cruiser, and scooter. The factory covers both production and quality control operations.
Key production capabilities:
- Annual capacity of 300,000+ radial motorcycle tires - 150+ tire sizes across different product lines - Four-compound system for racing tires (Super Soft, Soft, Medium, Hard) - Production of both radial and bias-ply tire constructions
All manufacturing follows ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Research & Development
Kingtyre operates an in-house R&D program focused on tire compound development, tread pattern design, and tire construction optimization.
The company's racing program feeds directly into product development. Telemetry data collected from Le Mans 24H participation — including tire temperature, wear rates, and lap times — is used to refine compound formulations and tire structures. This data-driven approach allows Kingtyre to test tires under endurance racing conditions before bringing them to market.
Key technical areas include:
- Multi-compound tire technology with distinct temperature operating windows (80–120°C surface temperature for racing compounds) - Wet-weather tread pattern design for water evacuation at high speeds - Tire pressure optimization across different motorcycle types and riding conditions - Lean angle performance validation up to 50°+
Kingtyre Motorsport
Kingtyre and Full Gas Racing Team jointly established the Kingtyre Full Gas Racing Team in 2022, competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship at the 24 Hours of Le Mans — one of the most demanding motorcycle endurance races in the world.
The company's Le Mans participation highlights:
- 2022: Debut season in endurance racing - 2023: Second consecutive participation with refined compound formulations - 2024: Completed over 850 laps under mixed conditions using Kingtyre wet tires - 2025: Fourth consecutive year at the event
The racing program serves a dual purpose: demonstrating tire performance under extreme conditions and generating real-world data for product development. A single Le Mans weekend generates approximately 1TB of telemetry data, including lap times, tire temperatures, and wear patterns across different track conditions.
Beyond Le Mans, Kingtyre exhibits at major motorcycle industry events including EICMA (Milan, Italy) and Feria 2 Ruedas (Colombia).
